Therapy – My Role

My role as a therapist is to support you as you explore the struggles you face. I can help you to gain a clearer understanding of past patterns of living and to learn how to positively engage in life in a more fulfilling and balanced manner. I approach counseling with authenticity, depth and compassion.

Real and Honest

Therapy is a space to be real and honest about your life. I will work collaboratively to support you in discovering new perspectives, practicing life enhancing skills, and developing a deeper understanding of yourself and others. I will support you to fully and deeply engage in the process of change and growth. Also, I approach each client and issue with a focus on uncovering potential solutions to life’s challenges and difficulties.

I listen deeply. I am attentive, and I am active and present in every session. I believe in the power of connected presence. I bring sensitivity and care, as well as my humorous and playful nature into our session, when appropriate. I customize my approach based on who you are, your needs, and how you respond in counseling.

I will work collaboratively to support you in discovering new perspectives, practicing life enhancing skills, and developing a deeper understanding of yourself and others.

Safe, Respectful, Non-Judgmental Therapy

I work to create and maintain a strong therapeutic relationship that is safe, respectful, non-judgmental, and accepting. In therapy, I support you to bring all of who you are and to deeply explore personal challenges. I provide space for change, growth, and healing while helping you to integrate mindfulness approaches and techniques to assist in cultivating greater awareness and intentionality in life.
